2.A set of photos of a boy carrying his tennis rackets in a bamboo basket has gone viral(走紅).
The boy,Wang Fa,14,is a member of the Va ethnic group(佤族)from Yunnan.After winning the under-14 title(冠軍)at the ASICS Tennis Junior Tour in Guangzhou,an audience member from Yunnan gave him the bamboo basket as a gift and the photos were taken.
"We always carry bamboo baskets when we work in the field.This is a typical farming tool of the Va ethnic group.I carried my rackets in this basket to honor my hometown,"Wang said after the match.
Before tennis,Wang was just an ordinary boy from a village.But in 2016,he was chosen by a local club as one of the first 10 local children to learn to play professional tennis."I was nervous at the beginning because the outside world was so different from my home," he said,adding that tennis has helped him make more friends and get a better education.
Over the past six years,Wang,along with other players at the Yunnan Wild Elephants Tennis Club,has trained hard to improve his skills and physical strength.The children would get up at 6:30 am and practice for more than six hours a day.Every day,they needed to swing a racket more than 7,000 times and run 9 'kilometers.
"If it were not for tennis,I would still be helping out my family with farmwork back home,"Wang said.
Wang's parents didn't want him to learn tennis at first because they couldn't afford it.But the tennis club offered to teach him for free.Wang's hometown,the mountainous Cangyuan Va autonomous county(滄源佤族自治縣),was just lifted out of poverty(脫貧)in 2019,reported China Daily.
For Wang,winning the ASICS Tennis Junior Tour title was the beginning of a hopeful future."I will aim for the top spots on the professional stage,"he said.

3.Our fallen heroes have come back home!The remains(遺?。﹐f 88 Chinese soldiers who died in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea(抗美援朝戰(zhàn)爭)were returned to China from South Korea on Sept 16,Xinhua reported.
Safeguarded by two J-20 fighters,a Y-20 military transport aircraft carrying the remains landed at the Taoxian international airport in Shenyang,Liaoning.
This is the first time that J-20,the country's most powerful fighter aircraft,has performed this kind of mission(任務).It shows the highest respect for heroes returning to the homeland,noted China Daily.
The remains were then transported from the airport to Shenyang Volunteer Martyrs Cemetery(沈陽志愿軍烈士陵園).A burial ceremony(儀式)took place there on Sept 17."I don't know their names,but I know they are heroes and we should remember them forever,"said Chen Meixu,a student from Shenyang at the ceremony.
Pei Jinjia,minister of the Veterans' Affairs said the heroes' mission had been finished.They should rest in peace in their homeland instead of in a foreign country.
The War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea started in October 1950.Under the command(指揮)of Peng Dehuai,2.9-million soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers fought in the war,and around 200,000 died in the war.
South Korea began to find the remains of fallen soldiers in 2000.This has marked the ninth continuous year of the handover between the two nations.Since 2014,a total of 913 soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers have been laid to rest in Shenyang Volunteer Martyrs' Cemetery,reported China Daily.
