Like two different worlds
I come from London in England- a very big city!Over 8(1)CCpeople live there, and it's always busy with tourists. So moving to a little town(2)AAonly 15 ,000 people was a big change for me!I am living in a little town in Germany now.
In the countryside, the towns are(3)DDso everyone knows each other. At home in London,I don't even know my neighbours!Another nice thing about the countryside is that it's very green and there's lots of fresh air.I like nature, and it's nice to see(4)AAthe seasons change the trees. My favourite thing about living in the countryside is that at night I can see thousands of(5)BB.At home I can hardly see any! That's because there's(6)CClight in the city, but here everything is dark and the stars twinkle in the sky.
One thing I do like about living in a city is that it's(7)CCto travel. We have the subways, buses and trains, and we even have buses that run all night. Here, the last train is before 9 pm,and there's only one in an hour!Another good thing about cities is that there are lots of(8)BB,so you can usually find what you need. Here there aren't many shops,(9)AAI have to go to the nearest city!
I always thought I was a city girl, but now I like the countryside too. They are like two different worlds,but(10)BBare like home !

2.The chart below shows the amount of time that 10 to 15-year-olds spend chatting on the Internet and playing computer games on a school day in the UK.
As is shown in the chart,25% of the boys spend less than an hour chatting on the Internet.26% of the boys spend 1 to 3 hours on chatting on line. The amount of the boys chatting on line for more than 4 hours is 4%.However,the results of the girls are different, which can been seen clearly in the chart.
Results on both chatting and playing games show that more and more students depend on the Internet. This worries parents a lot.Parents hope that students can go back to the real world to enjoy nature, instead of killing time in front of the computers.
