Kalish offered a few possibilities.The owl could have flown to the tree to hide there because it was injured and then got trapped later.Or maybe once the tree was loaded onto a truck，the branches squeezed it into the trunk.The bird may have just been too scared to move.Actually，there is no proof about where it came from. Moved beyond words，he hurried to the spot with the boy.Another boy was lying on the ground bleeding.He took out his clean handkerchief and touched lightly at the fresh scrapes（擦傷）and cuts.
